In a close voting battle, we can confirm that the ‘Player of the Season’ trophy winner for the 2019-20 (shortened season), is Claudio Herbert.
Claudio, scored three goals on the season, but was also a goal provider on numerous occasions for your Stoke team this season.
However Claudio’s three goals were all special solo goals, as he took the ball over half the length of the pitch, before slotting it past the Winchester City keeper in the 1-1 draw at home to Winchester City, the run and dummy of two defenders before firing home for the equaliser in the unfortunate 1-2 home loss to Cinderford Town, and at Cirencester as he chipped the ball over the oncoming Cirencester keeper from 20 yards to double our lead, which we somehow went onto throw away 3-2.

Remember the goals against Winchester City and Cinderford. Not sure there were any other players who would have scored them goals. Need far more next season though.
