Ok for those wishing to travel with us here are the following details and information.
With there being yet more railworks between Winchester and Eastleigh (bus service) we will need to use the longer and earlier cross country train service to Poole. This unfortunately means the following train details;
BSK 9.11am via (10.12am) Southampton then 10.26am arriving Poole 11.18am.
We will then get a taxis to Wimborne about 6 1/2 miles away (where there are a few decent pubs).
Trains back are again affected by the bus service, so there are two trains which don’t use the bus service.
These are the 5.43pm arrives BSK 7.44pm and 6.43pm arriving 8.39pm.
Train prices with Family & Friends railcard is Adults £17.25 Kids £4.95. Network railcard is same price as well.
Ground Information – The Koolpak Stadium, Cuthbury, Cowgrove Road, Wimborne. BH21 4EL
The ground is to the west of the town , but within walking distance of the Town Centre.
Match-Day Admission Prices – Adults £10, Concessions £6, Under18’s £2
Admissions at halftime is a flat £5
Food & Drink – The ground has a decent sized clubhouse and cafe inside the ground. The nearest pubs to the ground are the Green man and The Minster Arms about 600yds from the ground and on the edge of town, where there appear to be a number of pubs.
