It was on the 12th July 2019, the season fixtures for Southern League Division One South were announced, with us hosting Barnstaple Town (at Winchester City), just five weeks later on Saturday 17th August.
Quite apt that we and Barnstaple then spent the rest of the season, fighting to get off the bottom of the league!
It will be interesting to see when this seasons league fixtures will be announced. With the same teams as last season, could the league take the easy option and just repeat the same fixtures, that apparently never happened anyway!!
