Basron’s ACV Appeal On The Camrose Turned Down

As hoped the Basron appeal against the Councils ‘Asset Of Community Value’ placed on the Camrose site has been dismissed and puts the ball back in the Councils court to look to support the Community Club in it’s efforts to keep the Camrose a site for a sporting Community benefit.
The ACV has a five-year period, where the Community Club will be informed and allowed to bid for the Camrose site.
Note this does not ensure the safety of the Camrose, but allows both the Community Club and Basingstoke Council to work together in finding a way to bring football back to our home.
Thanks should go to Steve Williams who initially requested the club board to apply for the ACV and various councillors who pushed for the full Council to assign the Camrose as a true asset of the community.
