As one of those supporters who loved the effort that Callum Bunting put in every week whilst he was at Basingstoke Town, it is with a sad heart that we won’t see him and his father and grandad at the Camrose or at away games anymore.
A fan favourite of many fans, but also especially for one of our Supporters John Hammond, who sponsored him via the kit sponsorship and for every goal he scored over the time he was at our club, he will be sorely missed.
Callum was the club leading goal-scorer last season and think we have clearly missed up top alongside Sam Argent this season.
We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery from his back injury etc and think a lot of fans would love to see him back in the blue shirt of Basingstoke Town at some point.
