The board appointed Steve Letch as Chairman, Colin Stoker as Vice Chairman and Steve Williams as Secretary. Current available roles include public address announcer, IT and website support, administrative and fundraising posts and match day volunteers. The Community Club seeks help in meeting the Funding Challenge The BTFC Community Club this week identified the full extent of the funding challenge for the current season. Treasurer Peter George – Jones said ‘A minimum of £23,000 to support the players budget’ needed to be found. ‘The Club have launched a number of schemes to boost the players budget’ to retain and recruit players to compete more effectively at Southern League Premier level. New Community Club Chairman, Steve Letch said ‘We have had a good response from a number of quarters, including player kit sponsorship and Community Club memberships, but it is important that everyone understands the challenge’. As well as one off or regular donations, we are launching a 200 plus club. This involves a standing order commitment of £10 a month which gives 5 numbers in a monthly draw and up to £1,000 a month in prize money.
