Admittedly we didn’t deserve anything last night as our passing was not only poor but on many occasion wasteful. Again Chesham out bullied us on the pitch and although the referee was way, way, better than the last ref we had when we played Chesham, he still got played a few times!

Comments on the forum were also accurate that we had no clear leader on the pitch and unfortunately even when Charlie Kennedy is on the pitch, who is a great club player, we are honestly still short of a vocal leader on the park. However, should that sort of vocal leadership start on the bench which then evolves on to the pitch?

Another new central pairing last night, and another goal for Sammie Argent.
Least said, soon as mended!

The Manny Watch (CLOSED)
Well for those who still are not aware, but due to Slough’s injury crisis, they have requested him back and it is unlikely that he will be back. Those Supporters who had donated money, will have it refunded it back to us.
However, it does astonish me that one of the Joint Managers at Slough stated that they carry a squad of 16 or 17 players.
If this is the case, then I simply do not understand why in good reasoning you would offer Manny Williams services out on a month-long loan. If you have a match-day squad of 11 players and presumably five substitutes, then any injuries to any position and you will be virtually short of players on the bench. Simply crazy!!

Games in our league this week
So with four other mid-week games apart from ours to cover, we will start with the two that could have affected our league position on Tuesday night.
Starting with Walton Casuals visit to Hartley Wintney. In a seven-goal thriller, Walton Casuals held onto to take all 3 points, in a 3-4 win. No surprises that forward James Ewington added another hat-trick on the season, this one was inside an hour. Goals by Ridge, Duff and another by Mitchell Parker accounted for Hartley’s goals. Hartley Wintney with other results slipped into the relegation zone in 20th place. The win for Walton pushed them upto 17th and 2pts above the relegation places.

However, that win was then tempered by the fact that on Wednesday morning it was confirmed their leading striker James Ewington had joined National League South St Albans City.
The other match was the expected win by Tiverton Town at Staines Town 2-4. Although the game was 2-2 at halftime, two goals in the second-half continued Staines losing run and pushed Tiverton upto 16th in the table.
The last game in how league was this Saturday’s opponents Salisbury who scored a 95th minute equaliser at Kings Langley. Stephen Ward at opened the scoring on 65mins for the Kings but Christopher Shephard earned Salisbury a point as they moved back into 2nd place and five points behind league leaders Taunton Town.

On Wednesday there was one match as Farnborough hosted Met Police and in front of 316 fans, Farnborough held the Met Police to a 0-0 draw. The Met Police moved who have now started to falter in their playoff push, have now not won in the past four game, with 3 draws and a loss. However, despite this sit in 4th place and a massive 10 point advantage over the team in 6th place currently.

Hampshire Snr Cup Semi-Final Draw
The Semi-Final draw took place on Saturday 16th February just after 6pm on Solent Radio.
Sholing FC or AFC Bournemouth vs Havant & Waterlooville FC
Basingstoke FC vs Southampton U23’s

Evo-Stick South Premier Division South – Goal Scoring Chart
This table is from Evo-Stick Website, so assume it is accurate.
The current table looks like this,
Tobias Holmes – Wimborne Town 25
Brandon Goodship – Weymouth 25
Conor McDonagh – Swindon Supermarine 22
Jack Mazzone – Met Police 18
Dylan Kearney – Harrow Borough 18
James Ewington – Walton Casuals 18 (St Albans City)
Ricardo German – Hendon 17
Max Blackmore – Met Police 17
Andrew Neal – Taunton Town 17

Attendances In Our League
Ok since last week with no home game, we now sit in 8th place for the average at home attendances of 378 per home game.
