Known striker Harvey Bradbury stepped up for Hanwell and slotted the ball past Simon Grant into the net and we were behind. Hanwell Town 1-0 Basingstoke Town.
A minute later, a Hanwell player hit a shot from the halfway line that caught Grant of his line, but flew over the bar.

Moving past the half-hour mark, and Stoke were starting to push forward with more frequency, and a cross from the right was controlled by Obodo, but his shot was off-target.

Stoke attacked again and Jed Brown hit a shot flew off the bar.
Stoke continued to press, and spent a minute in and around the Hanwell penalty area, but failed to find that opening for a shot.
Another Stoke attack a minute later finally, as the ball was clipped over from the right to a Stoke player who tapped across the box, to Joe O’Loughlin, who knocked the ball home from five yards through a crowd of players. GOAL! Hanwell Town 1 – 1 Basingstoke Town (O’Loughlin 41 min Pen)

Hanwell immediately attacked back, but a shot down low was held well by Grant down low.
The referee played two minutes of added-time, and we went into the break deservedly level.

Halftime Score: Hanwell Town 1 vs 1 Basingstoke Town
With no changes by Stoke at halftime, it was quiet start to the second-half, until Casey Bocarro sent a cross from the right, to Obodo, who failed to make any connection to the ball and Hanwell cleared.

Then just before the hour-mark, Hanwell retook the lead after the ball hit our bar, and Bradbury was first to rebound and knocked it home from close range find the net once more. Hanwell 2-1 Basingstoke
Hanwell continued to attack, looking for a third, but Stoke kept them out.

Stoke were not helping themselves, as we unnecessarily gave the ball away twice in a space of a minute.
The Stoke fans behind the goal, who had been far from happy with the referee, then saw him take 40 seconds to notice that one of our players was down injured.

Stoke then made a quadruple of substitutions, as Casey Bocarro was replaced by Aleks Kokoszka, Tom Blake was replaced by Christos, James Henry was replaced by D’Andre Brown and Jed Brown was replaced by Joe Lewis-Evans (69mins).

The referee became the wrath of the Stoke fans once more, as Billy Upton was completely taken out by a Hanwell defender, which the re referee ignored.
Stoke’s substitutes Kokoszka & Dre Brown brought some life into Stoke’s attack, and they set-up a chance for Christos, who shot had the Hanwell keeper beaten, but the ball slid inches wide of the left-hand post.

Stoke then made its final change as Joe O’Loughlin was replaced by Finn Evans (82 mins).
Despite Stoke pushing for an equaliser, it was Hanwell who looked more dangerous on the break, and two good tackles by Stoke defenders kept them at bay.

The referee despite all the changes and delays, plays just three minutes of added-time, before blowing the final whistle, and Stoke go down to its second defeat.

Final Score: Hanwell Town 2 vs 1 Basingstoke Town
Bradbury 26 (Pen), 59 mins, O’Loughlin 41 mins,

Match Thoughts
A decent first-half performance but again we are on the wrong side of a 2-1 result against Hanwell.
