Stoke Get Back To Winning Ways In Latest Friendly At Fareham Town

In our latest friendly Basingstoke Town travelled to Fareham Town, and with the warm sun beating down on what looked a very good pitch, it was Stoke who attacked from the outset, and a neat Bradley Wilson finished opened the scoring.

Sam Argent then added a second goal, before James Clark opened his Basingstoke account with the third. A goal by the homeside gave us a three-one lead as we went into the break.

A number of changes then saw a second-half, where new signing Ezio Touray added yet another goal before an unfortunate own goal by Nathan Smart, cut our lead in half.

However, another Bradley Wilson finish increased our lead and the game finished with the final score, Fareham Town 2 – 5 Basingstoke Town.

Up Next: Is another trip to nearby Farnham Town this coming Tuesday evening.
