On Tuesday night Basingstoke in it’s latest pre-season friendly took on League Winners Bracknell Town.
As expected the visitors hosted a number of last season’s and this season’s acquisitions and took the lead midway through the first-half before Stoke equalised via a neat Bradley Wilson finish.
However it was bRacknell who went into the break with the lead as a neat finish past Paul Strudley in goal.
Bracknell increased their lead through ex-Stoke forward Conor Lynch and the final score was Basingstoke Town 1 – 3 Bracknell Town.
As was thought and expected, they were a very arrogant side. Of course they are a decent team but we were bad defensively that made them look good.
