Whilst our Basingstoke Town side host Sutton Common Rovers tomorrow afternoon, I am sure many of you will be keeping an eye on your phones at the other games concerning our playoff teams in our league. Those games are the following, (2nd placed) Chertsey Town v Hanwell Town (3rd), Staines Town v Bedfont Sports (4th), Guernsey v Uxbridge (6th) and (7th) Marlow v Tooting & Mitcham Utd. Note the Guernsey match against Uxbridge is a 2pm kick-off which means that result will likely be known as our second-half kicks off.

Clearly three points are imperative and if we are honest with ourselves if we don’t beat teams like this then we don’t deserve to make the playoffs. Eight games is still over 20% of the season remaining.
