Basingstoke Add Two Players To Playing Squad

Following a number of key injuries to Basingstoke’s squad, they have moved to add to their squad with two new players joining the club for this weekends game.

Firstly we have added 21-year-old left footed defender/midfielder Massimo Giamattei, who has signed from Bracknell Town. Massimo like left-back Callum Winchcombe, was a Swindon Town youth player, before playing for other clubs such as Hanwell Town & Binfield.

Secondly on a 28 day-loan from Weymouth FC, another former Bracknell Town player Anthony Cheshire, has joined the club. Anthony, is a strong centre back with the capabilities to push up into the midfield, Cheshire has bolstered the ranks of Bobby Wilkinson’s side. After coming through the Swindon academy, Anthony has also played for Wantage, and Hanwell.

Both are likely to make their debuts this Saturday in the vital home game against bottom-placed Didcot Town.
