The club are pleased to confirm that the Fans Forum will take place in the Function Room, The Camrose Social Club on Tuesday 23 May at 7.00pm – 9.00pm.
The agenda is as follows:
- INTRODUCTION
- OVERVIEW OF CURRENT SITUATION
- QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION
- THE FUTURE – COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP AND SUPPORTERS DIRECT
- FUND RAISING AND VOLUNTEERS
- CLOSING REMARKS
The Meeting will be chaired by Club President, Alan Turvey.
The Interim Management Group recognise that communication needs to be improved at this critical time and the fans will be asked about the steps to be taken to improve communications and fan involvement. The subject of moving to a Community Owned Club will be presented by James Mathie of the independent Supporters Direct, a body initially established by government to encourage football clubs to be run by fans.
We are aware that fans will have lots of questions , many of which they feel have not been properly addressed in the past. We do not wish to duck any questions [ especially about how the current situation arose ] but we need to ensure that we give time to focusing on what needs to be done , and who is prepared to help, to secure the future of the club.
