The club announced the following statement today regarding San Argent’s departure from Basingstoke Town
“It is with regret that we can announce that Sam Argent has left the club to seek football elsewhere for the coming season. Sam who has been an integral and well liked member of the squad both on and off the pitch has been a real ambassador for the club in recent years and quickly became a fans favourite.”
“Sam will be remembered fondly for all his endeavour, tireless work ethic and a few goals along the way, including THAT goal we’d all been waiting for away at Wimborne.”
“We would like to wish Sam the very best of luck with his new venture and thank him for all his valiant efforts across the seasons he’s been with us.”
