It was announced on Friday today that Basingstoke Town have come to an agreement with Bracknell Town to sign forward James Clarke apparently for an undisclosed fee? Stoke Manager Dan Brownlie had tried to sign Clarkey at the start of last season, before he joined Bracknell.
Clarke, missed a lot of last season through injury, but had scored 18 goals in 22 games during the two year covid restricted seasons for Marlow. Clarke has also played for Hungerford Town, Wealdstone & Hayes & Yeading.
